The differences in the pictures may result that photos were taken in different lighting conditions - sun or high pressure sodium lamps - which in the evening light to plants

Hi,

Very very nice plants you have there! ;-)

What is the plant shown on the very first picture of this thread? Could it be Nepenthes suratensis?

All the best,

François.

Hello Krzysio,

This N. smilesii is really peculiar. Could you please tell us where does it comes from? Do you know the location?

I'm studying Indochinese Nepenthes and I don't remember having seen such smilesii before.

Thank you for your reply,

François.

Thank you for your reply,

I bought it in Polish shop (CarniSana or Roraima - I do not remember) without location as N. smilesii, but many times I bought not this species, which I ordered - so it may be a mistake
I checked, and he really does not look like smilesii, rather looks like Nepenthes suratensis, as you suggested at the beginning
This year, in June bought from Wistuba the next Nepenthes suratensis, because I believed, that I still do not have that Nepenthes.

But thanks to this I can be sure that it will definitely Nepenthes suratensis

Thank you very much François for this suggestion
