So, not a teetotaler, then? :-D

Nah... Amar's obviously a Quaker.

That's what his legs do after he's gone to stand in that particular corner... :(

My favourite's a Macallan 25-year, closely followed by an 18-year Talisker.

Enemies of my Liver, I salute you!!

Nice collection you have there! :woot: I see you have a few springbanks and Hazelburns. On the (almost) lowest shelve is that the springbank 15 with the beige label? A nice dram. The new 15 (black label with green S) is also very good, lot of beehive/beewax/marzipan.

I am very curieus what those 2 Springbanks are in the wooden containers?

Indeed, it's the Springbank 15 and 21 years old: http://lh6.ggpht.com/_8k67XRV0XHw/SoVc27zh...A6fVsg/o61n.jpg

The first wooden box contains a 1966 Springbank, bottled 1997, 53.6%: http://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/ProductIm...966V9&w=270

The second wooden box also contains a 1966 whisky, bottled 2000, 47.1% (one of 300 bottles, couldn't find a picture on the net.)

The only ones of those 4 that I've opened is the Springbank 15y (Sadly it's by now empty, so, wouldn't show up in a newer picture.).

I doubt I'll, sadly, ever open the others. Before buying the 34y old Springbank, it was at a tasting in Basel in the year 2000, I tasted it, and I found it was the best whisky that had ever passed my lips. The 21y I bought way back in 1994!

yep, stuff's going for quite a lot of cash... :)

And check out the macallan private eye and springbank local barley. yep, investments they are. :)
