Greg Allan
Does anyone have any experience separating these. I have a Brocchinia plant that is currently flowering which has so far produced three pups, the largest of which is approx 10cm tall. What is the correct time to separate? When the time is right, is it simply a case of ripping the pup away from the mother plant and planting in a new pot? Cheers, Greg
ada
Hi Greg, I got mine from a friend who brought his to an open day.It had pups on,about 8 inches tall. The parent plant was huge. I said i fancied one and he just pulled it off,i left it to dry for a couple of days(it didn't have any roots)Then potted it up in damp compost and just left it.it rooted in no time and is still doing fine. ada
