The flowering process seems to take a while and cool weather seems to encourage it. Remember to keep them drier during this time. Happy Growing, Brian. japetus Posted March 22, 2011 Report Share Posted March 22, 2011 I'd like to bring up this old thread in order to ask if somebody has been experimenting with ethylene to induce flowering of Brochinia or Catopsis. Ethylene capsules are widely used at commercial bromeliad greenhouses to accelerate flowering.
