Vertigo
I have a question. I believe it was in the savage garden, but could have been from anywhere actually. One time I read that if you store lowland nepenthes seed in the fridge, you might as well toss it in the trash, as the lowland seed does not remain viable at all if it's subjected to cold. Can anyone confirm or deny this with experience? How would actually store lowland seed if this is true besides leaving it somewhere dark and somewhat dry? Guest Mesojedec
Hi, I have also read somewhere about how's not good to store nep seeds in fridge. I think that the point is that these plants are tropical and we should store seed at room temperature in dark&dry place.
Zongyi_yang
i just leave it in a dry space. not too cold and not to warm (17-20 C). when i have used a fare share of seed and still have some left over, i toss, trade, or just throw the extra seed into a pot when the seeds are 2-3 weeks old.
