Milosko
Hi anyone can help me how to cultivale this nepenthes ? I have also n.dubia x gymnaphora , but it grows very slowly and dont create pitchers. Soil is 1/2 peat moss and 1/2 coconut fibre, humidity about 75-80%, light is strong enough (tobaica, ventrata eymae grow quite well) with full spectrum. Andreas Wistuba
Dear Milosko, Nepenthes dubia is species that often grows as an epiphyte in the wild. They like good drainage and an open mix. A lot of light is also welcome and a typical highland climate (cool nights!). Bye Andreas
Milosko
Thank you Andreas, how about n.dubia x gymnaphora ? Is this hybride more tolerant than n. dubia ?
agustin franco
Hi all: In general, Nepenthes display hybrid vigour when hybridized with a different species. So most likely your hybrid is stronger that N. dubia. Gus
