  2. Due to some people being quite abusive to the person this post is referring to on another website. (not on this site ) I have deleted the original content of this post. Just be careful of people giving sob stories and wanting plants. Whether it is someone who claims to have lost everything in a fire that spread to the greenhouse or someone who claims to have had their bank hacked so has no money but needs plants. This is someone who has been trying this con for the last three years and is still actively emailing people this week. Please don't name the person and be abusive, if people name her and start the abuse here i will have to ask admin to delete the post altogether. Just be wary and don't give free plants to someone who emails you with a sob story. Sheila

  7. I remember my first step on the slippery slope... Welcome to the fascinating world of these plants. You'll find lots of info on here, and lots of folk ready to help. I was looking at another forum recently (not plant related), and a beginner asked a beginner's question. One of the resident divas said something along the lines of, 'well, if you're asking that question, you're clearly not ready to keep (blank!)'. I thought to myself, well hey bud, didn't you start somewhere? Talk about putting people off! Ask away, we don't bite on here, it's the plants that do that. Nigel HC
